Hello Parliament and the Public eye that is reading this. jmarti came up with this idea and I did the research.
Title: Seasons
Type of motion (Edit/Removal/Creation): Creation
Elaboration & Reasoning: I propose to the Parliament that we add at least 1 of the following season-related plugins, preferably the 1st one. One of the server's goals is to be more realistic, and I can't think of many better ways to do it than these plugins.
The first plugin is one that should definitely be added if this gets accepted. It's almost 100% configurable, so you guys can adjust it to meet the server needs. The plugin link will explain it better than I can, but it basically gives you effects you would normally get in real life.
The second plugin is much less, but it basically adds weather patterns in relation to the seasons. You might want to add this if the first plugin doesn't spawn in rain showers, snowstorms, or other weather events.
The last plugin is something pretty insignificant but I thought it would be cool nonetheless. Basically just makes crops grow quicker or slower depending on the season.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all the plugins allow you to set the season lengths, so you can set it to 90 real life days to keep up with the real life seasons.
