The Parliament of Stratham enacts:
Section 1. Short Title
(1) This Act is the Medical Reformation Act.
Section 2. Commencement
(1) All provisions shall come into effect upon passage.
Section 3. Reasoning
(1) Organize and update many of the outdated medical laws to the current standard.
Section 4. Rescinded Acts
(1) Rescind Medical Objectives
(2) Rescind Refusal of Treatment
(3) Rescind Doctors Selling in Bulk
(4) Rescind Player distribution of Cures
(5) Rescind Faking Illness
(6) Rescind Regulation of Medical Objectives
(7) Rescind Regulation of Medical Objectives Amendment Act
(8) Rescind Regulation of Medical Objectives … Amendment Act
(9) Rescind Doctors Selling in Bulk Amendment
(10) Rescind Regulation of Medical Objectives
(11) Rescind Pharmacist’s Law
(12) Rescind Refusing of Treatment Edit
(13) Rescind Medical Expectations and Regulations Act
Section 5. Reformation
(1) Outlaw the act of selling Hospital Medical Supplies outside of designated medical regions.
(2) Outlaw medical treatment outside of designated medical regions.
(3) Outlaw the act of refusing medical treatment for an infectious disease
(a) A medical professional may request a police officer to handcuff a patient refusing treatment for infectious disease in order to administer the treatment.
(4) Outlaw the act of a medical professional selling more than a single treatment to a player during a single visit.
(5) Outlaw the act of a non-medical professional selling or distributing medical supplies
(6) Outlaw the possession of Hospital Medical Supplies in the excess of 1
(7) A pharmacist may only sell items currently for sale in the pharmacy within the hospital
(8) Define medical professionals as DoH employees
(9) The following items shall be classified as Hospital Medical Supplies
(a) Brightwater
(b) Bitterwort
(c) Sweetbrine
(d) Lycan Potion
(e) Blackbrew
(f) Sweetwort
(g) Smoothwater
Section 6. Punishments
(1) Selling of Hospital Medical Supplies
(a) 1st offense: Confiscation of supplies and 250kr fine.
(b) 2nd offense: Confiscation of supplies and 450kr fine.
(c) 3rd offense: Confiscation of supplies, 750kr fine, and 5 minutes jail time.
(2) Medical treatment outside of designated medical regions
(a) 1st offense: 300kr fine.
(b) 2nd offense: 500kr fine and 5 minutes jail time.
(c) 3rd offense: 1000kr fine, 5 minutes jail time, and termination from DoH (if employed).
(3) Refusing treatment for an infectious disease
(a) 1st offense: Fine equal to the cost of treatment, 200kr fine per player infected, 250kr fine, and 5 minutes jail time.
(b) 2nd offense: Fine equal to the cost of treatment, 250kr fine per player infected, 750kr fine, and 5 minutes jail time.
(c) 3rd offense: Fine equal to the cost of treatment, 300kr fine per player infected, 1250kr fine, and 10 minutes jail time.
(4) Medical professionals selling more than one cure to a patient in one visit
(a) 1st offense: 500kr fine.
(b) 2nd offense: 1000kr fine.
(c) 3rd offense: 1500kr fine and termination from DoH.
(5) Non-medical professional distributing Hospital Medical Supplies
(a) 1st offense: 500kr fine and confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies.
(b) 2nd offense: 600kr fine and confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies.
(c) 3rd offense: 750kr fine, confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies, and 10 minutes jail time.
(6) Non-medical professional selling Hospital Medical Supplies
(a) 1st offense: 550kr fine and confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies
(b) 2nd offense: 750kr fine, confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies, and 5 minutes jail time.
(c) 3rd offense: 1050kr fine, confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies, and 10 minutes jail time.
(7) Possession of Hospital Medical supplies in excess of 1
(a) 1st offense: 250kr fine and confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies.
(b) 2nd offense: 500kr fine and confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies.
(c) 3rd offense: 650kr fine, confiscation of Hospital Medical Supplies.
