- Title: Landlord’s Jurisdiction

- Type: Creation

- Reasoning: Currently, landlords can list rules and policies for their building on signs in their property, but they don’t have any good ways to enforce these rules and policies. Aside for rules that would already count as breaking a server rule (such as destroying exterior walls), property roles hold no weight.

- Bill: If a landlord places signs on the premises of their property that are clearly visible, those laws will hold actual legal weight, assuming the following three qualifications are met:

1. The signs are in an obvious place and are easy to understand
2. The rules on the signs are reasonable. “Reasonable” meaning any rule that has an obvious purpose, is clear age transparent, and does not infringe on the rights of residents.
3. The signs have been there for at least one week. (Can be checked by staff.

If the following conditions are met by a landlord, and a tenant breaks the landlord’s laws, the landlord may sue the tenant for up to 500 Krunas in court. Keep in mind that while a landlord can sue for up to 500 Krunas, they should only sue for the damages caused by the tenants. The courts will decide what compensation should be given if a landlord wins a case.
