Event Easter Egg Hunt (Sat, April 14)

Before all, we apologize for our inability to host an event during Easter. With the forums down, there was no efficient way to warn our players about any events. We hope you can still enjoy the fun with a late Easter Egg Hunt!
(Late) Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 14th, 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM EST -> (Eastern Standard Time)

Everyone can particpate (including staff members whom are not hiding eggs)

The Easter Bunny has hidden eggs filled with sweets and prizes in the Capital City of BusinessCraft! Egg hunters will venture out in the city to search for treat-filled egg chests.

Official Easter Hunt Eggs will be an easter egg head on top of a chest. When the hunt begins at 3:00 PM, you will be able to open chests and find the prize inside.

Where Will The Eggs Be Hidden?
- Eggs will not hidden inside any building, at an impossible place to reach, or at a place where it can't be seen from the ground. All eggs will be accessible to every player. Be careful! Some eggs will (possibly) require minimal parkour skills to reach!

WARNING
All players must remember to lock all their chests that they may have in the city prior to the event.
If any player is found looking through someone else's chest during the event, you will be charged for stealing and will pay the consequences according to the law.

Below is a map of the event. The legend to the map is on the bottom of this image.

The orange rectangle in the image above is the area where the eggs will be hidden.

The blue lines are where you will encouter DoJ Road Blocks.

The yellow lines are the various districts of the hunt (not important for egg hunters).

The starting line is located at spawn (type /spawn in-game). Be there by 2:59 PM EST.​

Rules:
- Be respectful and courteous to other players;
- Treat others the way you want to be treated;
- You are not allowed to use cars or bikes;
- You are not allowed to use an elytra;
- You are not allowed to cross a DoJ roadblock while driving a car or bike. This may result in a warning and/or a fine (You won't be able to cross one regardless);
- If you are caught driving off-road to access the event or trying to get eggs faster with a car or bike you will be prosecuted by law (remember we are tracking your every movement with the dynamic map and will know if you are suddenly traveling faster);
- The airport is off limits;
- You are not allowed to enhance your speed by using potions or enchantments;
- You are not allowed to hit/murder other players for an egg (using weapons, swords, bows...). It's an egg. There's plenty more to find;
- You must follow the law at all times (except for the car rules, there are no cars allowed); and
- You may not use ANY pre-set /homes or /warps to any location in the city. The only warp allowed is /spawn. You can re-set your /home after the event.

You are being watched! Very very carefully...


Game Plan:
- At 1:30 PM, the event beings! The Department of Justice and Department of Construction will begin blocking off access to the city limits. You will not be allowed to enter the city until the Egg Hunt begins (at 3:00 PM). If you are found within the city limits at this time, you will be automatically teleported to spawn or outside the city limit by a staff member. Optional detour routes are available. Please ask a DoPA member if interested.
- At 2:45 PM, players will begin gathering inside the spawn building. DO NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING UNTIL 3 PM. This will be the starting line of the Egg Hunt.
- At 2:50 PM, at spawn, we will take a community photo! Be there, this will mark our 2018 Easter Celebration and a photograph for the End of the Year!
- At 2:55 PM, a final call will be made for anyone wanting to participate to teleport to spawn immediately.
- At 3:00 PM, the Egg Hunt begins! Players are released from the spawn building; you will have one hour to find eggs.
- At 4:00 PM, the easter egg hunt ends even if there are eggs still left to be found (unlikely).
- At 4:30 PM, all roadblocks surrounding the city will be removed. All remaining eggs will be removed. The city will be open to the public. This marks the end of event.

Redeeming Kruna Prizes:
Please come to the spawn promptly at 4:10 PM EST.

By participating in this event, you agree that your position will be shown on the dynamic map at all times during the hunt. If you do not agree with this statement then please do not participate.
At the end of the hunt, you may re-hide your position by typing [/dynmap hide] in-game.

Let me get this clear... When this event starts and the chests are unlocked, I am guessing that will include our chests? If yes, does this also include doors?

No;
We are taking necessary precautions if players accidentally find chests that are not easter egg chests. Although this is unlikely, we still care. We will unlock easter egg chests as we set them (using the unlock command) as they will lock to be our own personal chest. This is the reason for the DoJ taking action to block off the city, and also the reason why no player is allowed in the city until the hunt starts.
