This is the official application thread for the Department of Economy. As stated in our constitutional power the Department of Economy is the governing body for the Overall performance of the Economy, Government Shops, Maintenance of Jobs and Exam Guides, Business Grants, Fiscal and Monetary Policies and Tax Policies. Our responsibility is to maintain the health, efficiency and productivity of the Economy.

The Department of Economy also handles applications on grants, managing and regulating the banking industry, Industrial claims, billboard Applications and Business Registration.

Department of Economy Positions:​

Secretary of Economy:​

Secretaries of the Economy are tasked with working on task assigned to them by the Minister along with helping improve the servers Exams, Exam and study guides and helping form economic policy and its implementation. Economic Secretary are also responsible for investigating and reporting violations of economic regulations and law.

Analyst:​

Analyst are tasked with assisting the Minister in tracking the economy and government spending along with enforcing taxation.

Quest Writer:​

The Quest Writer is responsible for writing quests for the NPC Quest project in the DoE. You will work with the Minister and Senior Admin's on creating and implementing the NPC Quests into the server.

What to do when you want to apply for the Department of Economy:​

If the positions within the Department of Economy interest you and you want to come and join our team and help shape Stratham Economy, then read the Requirements below to see if you can apply:

All Department of Economy applicants need to fulfill the same set of requirements:

-A /joindate of at least 2 weeks ago
-A /playtime of at least 24 hours
-A Discord account you actively use and can be reached at
-A demonstrated interest and involvement in Stratham's economy and business sectors
-A cooperative and pleasant attitude
-(This only applies for Quest Writer) You must have a little experience with writing creative stories.


Minister may waiver any requirements at there discretion. If you meet the minimum requirements, then please feel free to apply under the "Department of Economy Job Applications" Section. Copy the following template after you have selected "New Post".

Please remember to use your best effort. Incomplete sentences or vague responses will not reflect well. Wait for a response from the Minister. (Your patience is appreciated. Nagging reflects poorly).

Expectations of Employees:​

Just like all government employees, you are expected to behave appropriately on the server, on the forums, and on Discord. This doesn’t just include obeying the law, but also being polite and helpful. As a DoE employee, you represent the government and should adjust your behavior accordingly. Engaging in fights with other players, being vulgar, or breaking server rules or laws reflects poorly on the department and is grounds for your dismissal.

You are expected to take initiative and communicate effectively. This includes things like notifying management when you’ll be away for a few days, replying to pings in a timely manner, adhering to your project deadlines, contributing to other's projects, etc.

You are expected to know the server and its economic and education systems well.

When you aren't sure , please seek help from a senior member or the Minister. We are here to help and work collectively as a team and as a department that largely manages information, giving out wrong information instead of asking someone is absolutely unacceptable.

When assigned a project, you are expected to complete it in a timely manner. If you are unclear about when your project is due or what is expected of you, ask your superior.
