Update and organize the Pvp, Trespassing, and Police bills

The Parliament of Stratham enacts:

Section 1. Short Title

(1) This Act is the Crime Reformation Act.

Section 2. Commencement

(1)All provisions shall come into effect upon passage.

Section 3. Reasoning

(1) Currently many of the laws are very outdated as well as many that no longer apply due to newer bills. This act serves the purpose to remove these unnecessary bills and update the required ones to current standards

Section 5. Definitions
(1) Define Murder as “The purposeful act of killing another player without the victimized party giving consent to the murder”
(a) Outlaw Murder
(b) All murders shall be assumed to not be consented to unless the victimized party states otherwise.
(c) Murder may be considered legal when the victimized party consents to the murder.
(d) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act.
(2) Define Assault as “The purposeful act of inflicting over 1 heart of damage to another player”
(a) Outlaw Assault.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act
(3) Define evading arrest as “Refusing to report to an arresting officer after 3 requests, disconnecting to avoid arrest, or the use of teleports to avoid arrest.”
(a) Outlaw Evading Arrest.
(b) Evading Arrest is to be charged per crime committed.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act
(4) Define Trespassing as “the act of knowingly entering another person’s property without permission. Without permission refers to signs or verbal warnings to leave another person's property. .”
(a) Outlaw Trespassing.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act.
(5) Outlaw use of weaponry in non-pvp regions.
(a) Define non-pvp regions as a region in which pvp is disabled.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act.
(6) Define Public Disturbance as “The act of carrying oneself in a poor demeanor while causing a disruption or disturbance in a public setting.”
(a) Outlaw Public Disturbance.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act.
(7) Define Obstruction of Justice “The act of withholding evidence, lying to the Authorities, and/or interfering with an investigation or arrest.”
(a) Outlaw Obstruction of Justice.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this illegal act.
(8) Any law that has been broken by a player greater than the specified amount of offenses for said law shall have the punishment of the last explicit offense in addition to a 150kr fine applicable for each time committed.
(9) Establish a forgiveness program for new players
  1. Any player with the “new” tag in-game shall not be charged for their 1st 2 crimes committed

Section 6. Punishments
(1) Murder
(a) 1st Offense: 100kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(b) 2nd Offense: 150kr fine and 5 minutes jail time.
(c) 3rd Offense: 275kr fine, 5 minutes jail time, and one Firearm Infraction Point
(2) Assault
(a) 1st Offense: 55kr fine and fine equal to the cost of medical treatment to any victims
(b) 2nd Offense: 75kr fine and fine equal to the cost of medical treatment to any victims
(c) 3rd Offense: 155kr fine, fine equal to the cost of medical treatment to any victims, and 5 minutes jail time
(3) Evading Arrest
(a) 1st Offense: 100kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(b) 2nd Offense: 150kr fine and 10 minutes jail time
(c) 3rd Offense: 250kr fine and 10 minutes jail time
(4) Trespassing
(a) 1st Offense: 100kr fine
(b) 2nd Offense: 150kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(c) 3rd Offense: 250kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(d) 4th Offense: 275kr fine and 10 minutes jail time
(5) Use of Weaponry in designated non-pvp zones
(a) 1st Offense: 50kr fine
(b) 2nd Offense: 100kr fine
(c) 3rd Offense: 150kr fine
(d) 4th Offense: 215kr fine and the owner of the Non-Pvp Zone may request an automatic restraining order
(e) 5th Offense: 275kr fine, the owner of the Non-Pvp Zone may request an automatic restraining order, and 5 minutes jail time
(6) Public Disturbance
(a) 1st Offense: 150kr fine
(b) 2nd Offense: 225kr fine
(c) 3rd Offense: 350kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(d) 4th Offense: 500kr fine, 5 minutes jail time, and the disturbed party may request an automatic restraining order if disturbed by the same party more than thrice.
(e) 5th Offense: 750kr fine, 10 minutes jail time, and the disturbed party may request an automatic restraining order if disturbed by the same party more than thrice.
(7) Obstruction of Justice
(a) 1st Offense: 75kr fine
(b) 2nd Offense: 100kr fine
(c) 3rd Offense: 200kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(7) Violation of Restraining Order
(a) 1st Offense: 350kr fine
(b) 2nd Offense: 450kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
(c) 3rd Offense: 575kr fine and 5 minutes jail time
