At the current moment, the law states that any and all client modifications are bannable, with the only exception being OptiFine. However, some mods (for example Keystrokes, Badlion, etc) don’t offer the same advantages that typical “hacked” clients offer.
If this bill is passed, mods that don’t offer advantages to gameplay (such as Keystrokes, Badlion, etc) will no longer be punished. Mods that still offer advantages to the gameplay (such as X-Ray, Autoclick, etc) will be punished as they are right now. In cases where it’s debtable whether or not it offers an advantage, it should be up to the staff member’s judgement.
