Department Progress
Starting with the department's meeting that took place on October 12, we have accomplished many tasks and completed many of the projects that we started working on in September. I have created a new tool, thanks to which players and government members can check what is the average price of any item sold in the server. This was the CPI project, which uses the ChestShop logs that Tracefais sends us monthly. Then, we have created a list of kits for each University job we have, keeping in mind that each kit would have to be useful and would have to make it easier for new players to start doing their job. Each kit was also price-checked to make sure they were equally valuable as the others. We have implemented a new financial measure called "Universal Basic Income", which gives 5 kr per 15 minutes to players without a government job. This would help new players and would reduce the wealth gap between new and older players. We have officialised private banking with a new guide that was published on the forum and we have further sustained this new market with two ad-hoc measures: no-interest loans, given by the government to a private bank which would need to be paid back in 4 months, and the reinstatement of a modified, clearer and safer Central Insurance Agency, which insures customers of such private banks. We have replaced the confusing qualification that was Entrepreneur with a brand new one called 'CEO' linked directly with Business Registrations. CEOs have a tax exemption, meaning they do not pay the 20% of ChestShop Tax that everybody else normally has to pay. Thanks to this measure, many new companies have applied for a Business Registration and this allows us to keep track of the economy, of new emerging markets and markets in crisis. Furthermore, economy tracking will be followed by Analysts which have been trained to undertake a new process of business auditing. Analysts conduct occasional inspections on the registered company to make sure that the details submitted in their business registration remain valid, while also logging services provided, prices and items sold.
Upcoming Projects
Upcoming projects include organising the new government mall, managing the government tender shop and coming up with new measures to help with cash flow and wealth gap reduction. We have also just completed a project to update in-game university exams.

Department Progress
The DoH has been working a lot this month. First of we have our new Deputy Minister, Nightmare98765. We also just hired a new Hospital Secretary (Queenichu) and she is in the process of being trained. Furthermore we have started to finalize our top two projects (Private Healthcare & Paramedics) and we are really close to finishing it to the point that we can announce it. Lately I have been working on a doctor, hospital secretary, and a minister training guide (to leave as legacy and no, I am not quitting. I love being a Minister) After thinking for a while I believe creating these training guides will help doctors who cannot get trained soon enough due to time zones or other reasons this should help them start out as a doctor. Furthermore, doctors and HS will be able to refer to their guides whenever so it limits the amount of clueless doctors with unanswered questions. I am also working on updating the Doctor test guide and updating the doctor exam to make it more up to date.
Upcoming Projects
- Blood Drive - for doctors to get vaccines we sometimes have to have blood from a player. Doing a blood drive once in a while we can get what we need, and in return players can get a certain amount of krunas as a thank you for donating blood. Will be released with the new map.
- Rentable Pharmacies - This project has been worked on for about a month and will be released with the new map. This will allow Pharmacists to rent a pharmacy spot inside the hospital. The Department of Health has also communicated with Mayors and this will be added to all other hospitals & clinics.
- Private Healthcare - A collaboration between DoE & DoH. The name is yet to be decided but this consists of certain players (mainly new players) with a certain range of balances getting a discount on remedies.
- Paramedics - Paramedics is an add-on to the Doctor role (it will be its own role) and only a few doctors from all time zones will be chosen for this job. This consists of a player using the /911 command to call for a paramedic and the paramedic will go get the patient and drive them to the hospital.
- GP (general practices) - these will be a small group of doctors who will help run the hospitals in other cities or towns. GP's are still being discussed but they will be required to report to an HS, a Mayor, or a Minister before doing anything too big. They will also host conferences in the hospitals to teach people about becoming a doctor and encourage them to take it.
- Trainee Doctor - this will basically be a "new doctor" role that will go away once they are trained and they finish a quest. This role will be fully discussed once the new map comes along.

Department Progress
A lot more activity this month - due to it being Halloween, we have had a lot of themed events. Not only have we hosted our standard day events, but we have looked more into events which can be extended over a period of time (1 week) so that players can partake in their own time, as we struggle a lot with timezones.
More attendance in events due to increased in game advertisement. Also, a deputy minister was chosen.
Upcoming Projects
Many more projects to come in November and better ways of advertising after reviewing suggestions from the public. We will also be introducing the Stratham's National Sports Association in November. Potential events with other nations may come during the month.
Plans for events with some departments, such as the DoJ. Discussions with the DoE on working together to promote all departments and create an event where new private businesses can advertise in a high traffic area.

Dept. of Agriculture: Minister PinkPanda_
Department Progress
Although the Agriculture department has seen a major lack of activity, the past few days have been quite productive. We have merged the Agriculture Secretary and Ranger role, splitting the responsibilities of these jobs between Ranger and the Senior team. This change was made due to the low player base, lack of activity and unclear work for Agriculture Secretaries. Plans for more capital parks have also been discussed and will hopefully be announced soon for the Rangers to work on after a long period of inactivity. These parks will bring more much needed green spaces into capital.
Upcoming Projects
An idea from the past minister was to have an animal sanctuary rather than an animal shelter and pet shop. This idea will be continued with discussions happening soon, this sanctuary would enable players to adopt more types of animals rather than the standard ones currently available in the shelter. NPC's would also ideally be used instead of the current system which is call a ranger sign, although this sign could stay for the basic animals, NPC's would ensure that players could adopt at all times rather than having to wait for a Ranger to log on.

Due to PinkPanda_ only taking the Minister position recently the ideal amount of progress has not been achieved.

Department Progress
There has been a lot of focus to improve moral and activity within the department. We have just introduced our new department events nights, taking place on the first Saturday of each month. Our first event, on the 5th of November, will be a BC history related Kahoot quiz, which will be a chance for everyone to get together and just have a bit of fun outside of their department role. Within the department we have also worked on restructuring the construction side, with mentors now set up so that every intern is paired with an active constructor. We have also been focusing on recruitment, especially to the land branch, with two new property inspectors recruited. All pending applications on the forums have been reviewed and answered to as well. We have also formalised DoC private build applications with a dedicated sub forum for applications and a guide as to how they work. Moving forward, work has started on the new capital jail, by refurbishing the farming district highway junction where it will be connected to the road network. The senior leadership team have also discussed allocation of projects to mentor/mentee groups, which will hopefully be announced in the next few days to the department members once details are finalised.

The projects that have been set to us by the PM are currently being allocated to constructors/CI pairings and work shall hopefully start on them in the next week or two. The current projects set to the department include the new capital jail, new department buildings, and work on an apartment district near spawn. We are also nearing completion with the new government mall, which shall hopefully be completed and pasted by the end of November. There are also discussions regarding a new university, which needs to be discussed with the DoE to find out exactly what they require. In the land office, we hope to work on the training of property inspectors, as well as work on general activity within the branch.

Department Progress
Since the completion of the Trainee Officer job, we've received 3 applications and accepted 1 of them. MegaMinerM was promoted to the position of Anti Corruption Officer and will be responsible for ensuring all misconduct reports of DoJ members will be handled. Since the departure of 2 senior department members and 1 officer, we're still operating normally and working on regaining a few members.
Upcoming Projects
We've set the goal of hiring at least 2 new trainee officers with the hopes of them being promoted to PO one day. We're still currently discussing the promotion of one officer to the rank of sergeant to complete the management team. The training guide and department handbook is still being worked on and should be released soon. It will set specific guidelines for the training of officers and how they should complete their duties.
I've also taken into consideration for developing a program for the public to report crimes and earn some krunas if it leads to an arrest.

Department Progress
The department of state has and still is ongoing a review of the department, since becoming minister I have noticed and been distressed at the poor quality of employee knowledge and training and the dysfunctional department. Me and my deputy are in constant discussion and have plans to shake the discord up and get the DoS moving again. Current ongoing project myself and my deputy are working on:
-department discord clean up
-employee review
-guidelines for the entire department
-conducting a report [ classified ]
-examining legal problem [ classified ]
-new foreign policy direction
-team meeting
-applications final review and acceptance or denial
-Towns individual meetings and responses to queries
Upcoming Projects
Since becoming minister I am appalled at the inability to make this department functional and we are working to change this and hope to start the role out of the re-do soon. We are also looking into events and new conferences for the departments employees and looking at the divisions within the department We are also conducting a parliamentary election and hope to make sure this runs smoothly I along with my deputy are committed to the re organisation of the DoS and bringing it back to the functional state it once was at and we look forward to taking on these challenges head strong and determined to rebuild the DoS' reputation.
