- Reasoning: The current system allows for a lag in which there are no current minister and frankly is a waste of time for parliament and the prime minister
- Bill: Removal of the following phase “3. MPs vote on the nomination after 24 hours.” But parliament can take up to 24 hours to decide on nominations if needed
