- Why do you want to be a Event Planner: I have a love of work with an equal love of fun. As much as I like to work, I realize the need to kick back and relax! While planning events is work, the payoff is worth it. Not only does the planner get to enjoy seeing the event happen, but others get to have fun, and that is probably my favorite part of hosting and helping with events.
