To lessen the severity of a crime if you turn yourself in.
The Parliament of Stratham enacts:
Section 1. Short Title
(1) This Act is the TYI act.
Section 2. Commencement
(1) All Provision(s) shall come into effect upon passage.
Section 3. Reasoning
(1) To give citizens less punishment if they turn themselves in.
Section 4. Lessen Punishments
(1) If a citizen turns themselves in to the Department of Justice within 48 hours of being notified they are wanted, they are entitled to having half of their punishment reduced.
(a) Confiscation of items will not be included in the punishment reduction.
(2) If the individual is unable to get on, the Minister of Justice may grant them additional time to turn themselves in.
