The DoJ Evidence Act Amendment

A
Bill
To

Amend the DoJ Evidence Act to include the provisions listed below.

The Parliament of Stratham enacts:

Section 1. Short Title

(1) This Act is the DoJ Evidence Act Amendment

Section 2. Commencement

(1) The provisions of this Amendment shall come in to effect upon the passing of this bill

Section 3. Reasoning

(2) Currently under the DoJ Evidence Act, the DoJ can ascertain a warrant from the courts for drug searches, so that they may confiscate illegal contraband and charge the defendant accordingly.

Some of the charges for certain crimes include the arrest and jailing of the suspect, and as reported recently this can take between 2-4 hours. This amendment's purpose is to add arrest warrants, awardable by the court, to the DoJ’s powers. This would re-introduce the command /dynmap show for the DoJ sergeant/Captain/Minister ranks to make the chase less lengthy and more enjoyable for all players.

Section 4. The DoJ Evidence Act Amendment

(3) Reintroduce the /dynmap show command for the ranks of Sergeant, Captain, Minister, so that they can lessen the time an arrest takes, making it more enjoyable. The use of dynmap show can come into effect by a Sergeant or above following a 45 minute police chase.

(4) Introduce Arrest Warrants, awardable by the courts for a persons arrest. This is to be used if someone still has not been caught using the above method in point 1, following 2 hours minimum of a police chase. The arrest warrant will grant the DoJ Minister the right to jail the criminal using the /jail command.
