While BusinessCraft accepts players on Minecraft versions 1.13.2 through 1.14, the server is natively on 1.13.2, and you may experience bugs and glitches if you’re not on 1.13.2. Here’s how you can ensure you’re on the right version!

    1. With the Minecraft Launcher open, click Installations
    2. From there, click upload_2019-8-13_21-47-20.png to create a new installation (version)
    3. Set the Name to: BusinessCraft, and the Version to release 1.13.2
    4. Optionally, change the icon to something else by clicking on the Furnace
    5. It should look like this
    6. Click Create!
    7. To switch to the newly created version, click Play at the top, then click the version selector at the bottom, left of the large PLAY button

    Optional: Install Optifine
Optifine is an approved mod that can help with performance as well as enhancing the visuals of the game. Now that 1.12.2 has been installed, you can install Optifine by following these instructions.
    1. Run the 1.12.2 version, if you haven't already.
    2. Download the Optifine Installer here
    3. Open the file and click install
    4. A new version called Optifine will be created; play that version

You may get an error when trying to open the installer. This is because your computer doesn’t know how to run .java files yet. Since Minecraft comes with Java, you can tell the computer how to run the file with the following steps:
(Note: These steps are for Windows Computers)
    1. Open the folder the installer is in. Usually it’s in Downloads
    2. Click the blue File button in the top left corner
    3. Click Open Windows Powershell or Open Command Prompt
    4. Copy the following text and paste it in the new window
      Code:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\runtime\jre-x64\bin\java.exe -jar Optifine_1.12.2_HD_U_E3.jar
    5. Press Enter or Return on your keyboard
    6. The Installer should now run, and you should click Install
