The Parliament of Stratham enacts:
Section 1. Short Title
(1) This Act is the Public Intoxication Act.
Section 2. Commencement
(1) All Provision(s) shall come into effect upon passage.
Section 3. Reasoning
(1) Currently many players get incredibly drunk and ramble in chats and people who aren't drunk have no utter clue what they are saying.
(2) Creating laws regarding intoxication adds more RP for criminals.
Section 4. Legal Drinking Limit
(1) The Legal Limit for intoxication levels shall be at 4%.
Section 5. Definitions and Punishments
(1) Public Intoxication shall be defined as “The act of disturbing the public or a specific player by slurred speech or throwing up or by exceeding the legal limit for intoxication.”
(a) This law shall not apply to players that are drunk on their own property or on another player’s property with permission from the owner.
(b) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this act.
(2) Driving while under the influence shall be defined as “The act of exceeding the legal drinking limit while operating a motor vehicle.”
(a) The Department of Justice shall be the authority of enforcement of this act.
(3) Public Intoxication
(a) 1st Offense: 50kr fine
(b) 2nd Offense: 100kr fine
(c) 3rd Offense: 100kr fine and 5 minutes of jail time.
(4) Driving while under the influence
(a) 1st Offense: 100kr fine and 1 driver’s infraction point
(b) 2nd Offense: 150kr fine, 5 minutes of jail time, and 1 driver’s infraction points.
(c) 3rd Offense: 300kr fine, 10 minutes of jail time, and 1 driver’s infraction points.
