Establish Legal protections
The Parliament of Stratham enacts:
Section 1. Short Title
(1) This Act is the Protection of Legal Proceedings Act or PLPA.
Section 2. Commencement
(1) All provisions shall come into effect upon signage.
Section 3. Reasoning
(1) Re-establish the Fairness to Opposing Party Act’s intentions.
Section 4. Witness & Evidence Protection
(1) Citizens that manipulate, influence, contact, or threaten any person(s) concerning an ongoing court case shall be guilty of Witness Manipulation. The Punishment for such is as follows:
(1) Attorney-client privilege is the right of the client and their Attorney to keep all conversations, documents, and anything else shared as a part of their relationship as Attorney-Client, a secret to all other person(s).
(2) Attorney-Client Privilege must be established through the employment of the Attorney by the Client, subsequent consultation outreaches are not protected by Attorney-Client Privilege unless established through a contract.
(3) Release of Attorney-Client communications that are protected under Attorney-Client Privilege is strictly prohibited unless the court orders to do so under serious circumstances.
(4) The Punishment for Breaching Attorney-Client Privilege is as follows:
(6) Breaches of Information protected under the Attorney-Client Privilege is inadmissible in a court of law and in any other legal proceeding.
Section 6. Protection of Opposing Parties
(1) Attorneys are expected to tell the truth and are expected to present any and all information related to their client to them.
(2) Attorneys and their allies shall not be permitted to contact their opposing counsel or the defendant during an ongoing court case without their counsel present, and vice versa.
(3) Contacting parties to a case without their attorney present shall be punished with the following:
(1) The Judiciary may issue punishments for violations in Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of this Act.

- First Offense: K500 fine, 10 minutes jail time + removal of lawyer license for 15 days
- Second Offense: K2000 fine, 20 minutes jail time + removal of lawyer license for 30 days
- Third Offense: K5000 fine, 30 minutes jail time + removal of lawyer license for 90 days
- Further Offenses: K10000 fine, 50 minutes jail time + removal of lawyer license permanently

Section 6. Protection of Opposing Parties
(1) Attorneys are expected to tell the truth and are expected to present any and all information related to their client to them.
