This is the official election post for the 3rd Prime Ministerial election.

If you want to run for the position of Prime Minister, you will need to meet these prerequisites:

• You need to have joined the server at least 4 months ago;
• You need a playtime of at least 20 days;
• You must be active in-game, on the forums and discord;
• You have served (in an official, and not acting) capacity in any of the senior or electable government positions (MP, Minister, Judge).

How to run for Prime Minister
As opposed to Parliamentary elections, creating a campaign thread is mandatory due to the nature of this position. It is necessary as it gives the voters an idea of who you are and what you want to do while in office. You need to reply to this post with “I, (username), am seeking the position of Prime Minister and here is my campaign thread: (link to thread)." You should also specify who your running mate is, should you have one.
It is also essential that you provide the following information in the same reply: playtime, join date, and criminal/punishments record.

As for the campaign thread, the title should be as such: [Username] - Candidate for Prime Minister (March 2022)
You can write the post in any way you choose. Here are some points you might want to include:

• Your username, age, and server activity
• How long you've been a part of the server and what it means for you
• Your past experience(s) serving the government of Stratham
• Why you think you are suited to be the Prime Minister and what your plan is in upon your election
• Who is your running mate (should you have one), and why you chose this individual

(Reminder: This isn't a format, this is just a suggestion on what you can put in your thread.)

You are free to discuss and answer questions regarding your campaign either on your own thread, in-game campaign meetings or on discord under #elections.

Election process
March 3rd-March 7th: Anyone who meets the prerequisites to run for Prime Minister can post their official campaign thread.
March 7th: The option to run is closed.
March 7th-March 10th: Players will have access to a poll on this post that will allow them to vote for the candidate they want as Prime Minister (and their running mate for Deputy Prime Minister)
March 10th: The poll will be closed and the Prime Minister-Designate will be announced.

There will also be a Political Debate on the Discord, on March 6th which will be managed by the Department of State.

After the Election has been concluded, the new Parliament will vote on Ministerial appointments nominated by the new Prime Minister.

Total: 98 Votes --> 77 Votes (-21)

The election has now been concluded and the Cherub54321 / Mickichu campaign is officially the winning ticket.

There will be a formal inauguration of the new Prime Minister/Deputy Prime Minister alongside the new Members of Parliament this weekend, as per a pending announcement. Parliament has unanimously agreed to allow for a 2-3 day transition period.
