This election month (December, 2017) there are 5 MP seats open.
If you want to run for a position in Parliament, you will need to meet these prerequisites:
How to run for Parliament
To run for Parliament and ultimately become 1 of the 5 MPs, you need to be elected by the people. Start off by posting a new thread on the Elections forum. As topic name put <Your Name’s> Election Post (December 2017). This will be your campaign thread, without one you won’t be eligible to run for the MP spot. Here you can introduce yourself to the voters and discuss your ideas with them, answer any questions people may have about your plans and views. In your new thread, you need to have the following information (you don't have to copy it as a format and fill it in, you can word it how you please):
After you write your election thread, you need to reply to this topic with the following message:
I am <your username> and I am running for the Member of Parliament spot. My election thread can be found here: <link to your election thread>
Election process
From this day (December 10th) until December 20th, you will be allowed to post your election campaign thread. From December 20th until December 30th, people will be able to vote for their top candidates and ask questions. The voting will be in a form of a poll on this exact post. On the 20th all of the people who posted their election campaigns will be an option in the poll. On the final day of the month, the new MPs will be announced. - You need to be on the server for at least 1 week;
- You need to be an active player;
- You must be active on the forums;
- You mustn’t be a Staff member or have an application currently under review for Moderator.
How to run for Parliament
To run for Parliament and ultimately become 1 of the 5 MPs, you need to be elected by the people. Start off by posting a new thread on the Elections forum. - Your age
- Your activity on the server
- When you joined
- Why do you think you are suited to be a Member of Parliament
- What kind of laws would you vote for/against

Election process
