If you're like me and don't have a cooking thermometer you wonder how hot the oil is. Here is an easy 3 step process on how to tell if your oil is hot.

Step 1: stick your hand in the oil.

Step 2: In the case your oil is hot and you burned yourself call 911.

Step 3: 911 brings you to the hospital and you realize that your stove is still on and your house burns down :)
