Council of Ministers Special Election Declaration (DoS) - April 2025

This election applies to the following Minister of Council positions:​

1. Minister of State

Election Schedule:​

April 27th - Declarations (48 hours)
April 29th - Open Voting (48 hours)
May 1st - Voting Closes
May 1st- 2nd - Announcement of results (24 hours)

The following requirements need to be met to run for Minister of Council:​

1. Holding a minimum of twelve hours (12) of active playtime, as seen in /bcseen, by the time the election poll opens.
2. Having a join date on the BusinessCraft server of more than four (4) weeks, as seen in /jd, by the time the election poll opens.
3. Holding a minimum of one (1) week of total playtime, as seen in /pt, by the time the election poll opens.
4. Holding no foreign office of any kind in a state recognized by the Republic of Stratham or otherwise.
5. Having a Discord account and forums account linked to their in-game account.

Campaign Clause​

3.3(a) No person shall be able to run in an election for a Council of Ministers position without making a public campaign post before the start of the voting period.

Declaration​

In order to follow the campaign clause, you can choose from 2 ways to make your campaign statement and declare your intention to run in this election.

If you intend to make a campaign post on the forums, please use this format to reply to this thread. "I, username, am seeking the position of the [department] Minister, and here is my campaign thread: link to thread. I will be running as an independent/member of [party name]."
The title of the thread should be as such: [Username's] [Department] Minister Campaign (March 2025)

If you intend to make your campaign post through Discord, use this format to reply to this thread. "I, username, am seeking the position of the [department] Minister. I will be running as an independent/member of [party name]."

You must choose to run as either independent or a party member. If you are running as a party member, it must be an officially registered party.

Note: If you do not make a campaign post by the official 48 hours mark after declarations have begun, you will be disqualified from the election.

Campaign Requirements​

For a post to qualify as a campaign, it must be posted by yourself and contain, at minimum, a call for citizens to vote for you.

Please post in this thread your declaration to run in this election. You may declare to run for a single, specified position only.
